Airport options are Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL) in Atlanta, Georgia and the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in Greenville, South Carolina.

From the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport the drive to Gainesville GA is approximately 70 miles and may take anywhere from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours to drive depending upon traffic.

From the Greenville Spartanburg Airport the drive to Gainesville GA is approximately 110 miles and takes about 2 hours to drive from the airport to Gainesville.

The Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville GA is operated by the City of Gainesville Public Works department and may be available to fly into, but trips into and out of this airport may be sparse. There is also an Amtrak Station and Greyhound location in Gainesville. Please check routes and availability before booking.

Uber and Lyft may also be sporadically available in Gainesville- do not rely on this service to get you to and from the workshop daily. The best plan, if flying into one of the larger airports, would be to obtain a rental car for use during the stay before leaving the GSP or ATL airport.
